Peace Church Site Upgrade

Submitted by Joe on June 24, 2006 - 8:11pm.

DrupalAs some of may know or will have guessed, the Peace Church site runs on the Drupal open source content management system - a superb free (as in beer) website management system. Drupal was recently released in version 4.7 with some incredible new features and improvements, so I've upgraded the Peace Church site to the latest version.

And to fit with the site upgrade I've given the site a facelift too. The homepage looks different and works differently too, to reflect the changes in exposure and use that peacechurch.org.uk is having. I hope you find it a good change (see below for further on the changing homepage!) - please leave your comments.

Things will carry on changing over the next few weeks as more content is added in certain places, and as I try to make it look nicer and work better in various places. For example, I'm well aware that the new homepage is rather 'monochrome' at the moment - I will add plenty of colour and interest very soon!

Hold on to your hats!
